My Fair Kenya story I.
Hi Am Peter Martin Wafula a resident of Webuye in the western part of Kenya engaged to a lovely Lady whom am planning to marry very soon.
I joined Fair Kenya in the year 2008, during the time when they were having an exhibition here in Webuye. It was an encouraging event that taught us many things we had not heard of.
From the pictures and stories of the street Kids to the slums of Nairobi and the suffering of the rural poor, the main theme of the exhibition was to stop Rural people to move to the urban areas.
We were taught on a lot of topics like Agriculture and other businesses to enable us be economically dependent where we are in our rural areas. So far am the first to have benefited from the pilot micro credit loan to small farmers and entrepreneurs from Fair Kenya and wish that next year I get another one to expand my business to the next level.
Right now am able to buy something for my family thanks to Fair Kenya and its cooperators.
